This meeting is for ALL STUDENTS, and we look forward to seeing you there! Kristi Moore, Ph.D., R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)

Dr. Kristi Moore serves as chair and professor of the Department of Radiologic Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s School of Health-Related Professions. She served five years at the national level as Chair of the Board of Directors for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), and is currently active on various committees. Dr. Moore serves on an advisory board for  Elsevier’s International Journal of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Therapy. She is also a peer reviewer and on a team of international representatives collaboratively studying what research integrity means for healthcare researchers. 

Dr. Moore and her colleagues have won the Jean I. Widger Distinguished Author Award in both 2022 and 2023 for an article addressing workplace violence in imaging departments and another investigating MR imaging scanner noise and its effect on technologists published in Radiologic Technology.

Dr. Moore, a 19+ year educator, was named Most Effective Radiologic Sciences Educator in the 2022 Minnies Awards.
