Superior District Legislative Mentoring Student Grant RT to DCDear Applicant: Thank you for your inquiry concerning the Superior District Legislative Mentoring Student Grant for RT to DC, March 7-March 9, 2010. It is with pleasure that we send the enclosed forms, which must be completed in full and returned to the CSRT Office postmarked no later than December 15, 2009. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all forms are completed properly and returned in one packet to the CSRT Executive Office by the postmarked December 15 deadline. Incomplete or improperly sent in applications will be disqualified. Enclosed you will find a copy of the requirements for the Student Grant. Applicants should read and comply with each of these requirements before an application is submitted to CSRT. The amount of the Student Grant is up to $1500.00 toward the reasonable expenses for the trip to Washington D.C. Reasonable expenses include transportation, lodging, and food and do not include alcoholic beverages. The recipient can receive this grant only one time. The recipient will write a report based on the experience and it will be due prior to reimbursement of expenses. The Student Grant will be revoked if the recipient fails to complete his or her educational program. In this event, the recipient must repay the Grant money within three (3) months. After the CSRT Office has received the completed forms, the evaluation and selection process will take place. The winner will be notified by mail by January 2, 2010.
