SUBJECT: State of California Certification in Radiologic Technology

Effective immediately, applicants applying for California State certification in Diagnostic or Mammographic Radiologic Technology, who document passing the examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), will be issued a California certificate without further testing. This provision is currently available for therapeutic radiologic technology and nuclear medicine technology.

Applicants must submit to the department, the required documentation with the completed application and fee.
